氮化硅陶瓷軸承
          氮化硅全陶瓷軸承具有氧化鋯的所有特性外，還具有自身比重輕，耐磨性好，硬度高并比氧化鋯陶瓷更耐高溫等特點。
1. 低密度:由于陶瓷滾動體材料密度低，離心載荷小，從而可在更高轉速下工作，而且產生熱量較少。
2. 中等彈性模量:陶瓷滾動體的彈性模量比鋼制滾動體高，則軸承的動態剛度提高，但是彈性模量太大會因應力集中而降低軸承的承載能力。
3. 熱膨脹系數小: 熱膨脹系數小有助于減小對溫度變化的敏感性，從而防止卡死。對混合滾子軸承，可適用的運轉速度范圍更寬。
4. 抗壓強度高: 抗壓強度高是滾動軸承承受高接觸應力的需要（對于陶瓷材料，其強度通常是通過三點或四點彎曲試驗測得的斷裂模量決定）。
5. 高硬度和高韌性: 這兩個特性相結合可獲得較好的表面粗糙度，而且能防止外界硬質粒子和沖擊的損傷。
6. 良好的抗滾動接觸疲勞特性: 此性能對軸承滾動體的要求至關重要。
7. 剝落失效形式: 如果滾動體在工作中失效，則應是疲勞剝落，該實效形式在卡死前有預兆，是一種造成危害最小的實效形式。 在一些應用條件較高的應用領域陶瓷材料還具備一些特殊性能。
8. 耐高溫和穩定性: 在高達800℃高溫環境中能穩定保持其機械性能。
9. 耐腐蝕: 在氧化和腐蝕環境，尤其是在反復滾動而擠掉表面油膜的接觸區應具有抗氧化和腐蝕穩定性。
